Property photos on QV.co.nz
Property searching has just been enhanced with the launch of over 700,000 property photos onto QV.co.nz.
Once you’ve searched for a property, you’ll now see a photo of the property within the property summary, where a photo is available. They are also included beside each sale within our key reports - E-Valuer, Local sales and the Essential property guide. These photos will not only help you confirm that you’ve found the right property but also help you gauge the quality and comparability of the sales contained in the reports.
The photos now available on QV.co.nz will complement those provided by Google Street View which is also available on the site. It provides another option to view images of properties and includes areas that have not yet been covered by Google Street View. The unique advantage of the photos on QV.co.nz is that you can provide us with an updated photo of a property at any time.
The photos displayed on the site have been taken from the street or provided by someone with permission from the owner. We have attempted to ensure the photos of the properties don’t contain any identifiable people or vehicles to ensure that we respect people’s rights to privacy. If for any reason you’re unhappy with a photo displayed for a property you can request that we replace the photo with a new photo that you provide or you can request the removal of the photo.
