"I have found QV to be a very supportive employer and a place where there are great opportunities to further yourself."

Hoa joined QV in 1998 as a member of the Business Support team.

After three years with QV, he moved into the QV Rating team in Auckland.  The position appealed as it enabled him to get out and assess a variety of properties.  While in this role, Hoa was given the opportunity and support to study toward a qualification necessary to become a qualified valuer.  This included financial assistance and flexibility of work hours to attend classes and exams.  Since qualifying Hoa has been promoted to an Account Manager in the QV Rating team based in Wellington.  It requires the completion of day to day valuation work and customer management responsibilities.

To further develop his skills Hoa recently accepted one of a few places on QV’s future leader programme, which he is currently completing.

“I have always found QV to be flexible, open to new ideas, and a great place to get a wide range of valuation experience and mentoring.”

Elizabeth joined the QV Valuations Dunedin team in 2002. As a graduate valuer she was supported and guided by company mentors and gained a wide range of valuation experience. This enabled her to successfully achieve her registration.

In 2007, Elizabeth was seconded to QV Australia in Wagga Wagga, NSW where she completed rating valuation work. She has been able to progress her career within QVA, and is currently responsible for the Griffith area rating contract. Elizabeth was also part of the 2011 Future Leaders Programme.
