Seen a property for sale? Want to know what it sells for? You can be notified for FREE when QV receives a sale for a selected property. You can select up to 5 individual properties free of charge.
To set up a FREE property sale notification, just search for the property you are interested in and select “Notify me of next sale” from the list of reports for that property.
Each week we will check to see if there have been any sales received for your selected properties, and if a sale has been received by QV we will notify you by email. If no sales have been received for that week, then no email will be sent to you. The email will be sent to your login email address if you are a Casual User, or your contact email address if you are a Subscriber. If you want to change your email address, login and go to Edit profile.
To view the sales that you have been notified of, go to www.qv.co.nz, login and click on the “New sales” link. The “New sales” page contains the situation address for each of the market sales that have been received by QV for the properties you have selected. Sales will continue to be shown on this page for up to 3 months after you were notified.
To view full details on any of the sales just click on the address of the property and purchase a Sales detail report. Individual sale notifications will be shown in bold so they stand out from sales that you may have received from Suburb sale notifications.
If we haven’t received a sale at the end of the 3 month notification period, you will be sent an email 14 days before the expiry of your notification inviting you to renew the notification for a further 3 months for FREE.
You can view or change your selected suburbs on the “Sales notification” page. If you no longer wish to receive any sales notifications just delete all the sales on the “Sale notification” page.
If you want to keep up with all the properties that are selling in your suburb or have reached your limit of 5 property sale notifications, you may want to consider setting up a Suburb sale notification.
Note: QV receives sales information from the local council after settlement of the sale is complete (this can differ on every sale, dependant upon the seller & buyers requirements in determining the settlement date). Often the settlement date is 4-6 weeks after signing the sale & purchase agreement (which is recognised as the sale date). Upon settlement the solicitor completes the sale notice and forwards this to the council, which may take 1-2 weeks. The majority of sales will be received by QV 6-8 weeks after the initial sale date. The above time frames are estimates only and QV is not responsible for any delays or sales being received outside the estimated time periods.
