Interested to know which properties are selling in your suburb? You can set up Suburb sales notifications for up to 5 suburbs that you are interested in, and for 3 months, when QV receives any sale in any of those suburbs you will be emailed.
To set up this service you need to login and click on the “Sales notification” link. You can then select the area of the country that you want from the drop down list. A map will then display that area on the screen. Use the suburb selection tool to select up to 5 suburbs of your choice and click “submit”.
Each week we will check to see if there have been any sales received for your selected suburbs, and if a sale has been received by QV we will notify you by email. If no sales have been received for that week, then no email will be sent to you. The email will be sent to your login email address if you are a Casual User, or your contact email address if you are a Subscriber. If you want to change your email address, login and go to Edit profile.
To view the sales that you have been notified of, go to www.qv.co.nz, login and click on the “New sales” link. The “New sales” page contains the situation address for each of the market sales that have been received by QV for the suburbs you have selected. Sales will continue to be shown on this page for up to 3 months after you were notified.
To view full details on any of the sales just click on the address of the property and purchase a Sales detail report.
You will continue to receive Sales notifications for your selected suburb(s) for 3 months. You can renew a suburb sale notification for a further 3 months at a discounted price of $4.00 incl GST per suburb for Casual Users or $2.95 excl GST per suburb for Subscribers. An email will be sent to you 14 days before the expiry of your notification inviting you to take up this renewal offer.
You can view or change your selected suburbs on the “Sales notification” page. If you wish to no longer receive any sales notifications just delete all the sales notifications that you have set up. If you delete a sales notification for a suburb before 3 months is up, you will not be entitled to any refund.
Notes: Sales notifications can only notify sales of properties where QV has linked the property details to a parcel of land.
QV receives sales information from the local council after settlement of the sale is complete (this can differ on every sale, dependant upon the seller & buyers requirements in determining the settlement date). Often the settlement date is 4-6 weeks after signing the sale & purchase agreement (which is recognised as the sale date). Upon settlement the solicitor completes the sale notice and forwards this to the council, which may take 1-2 weeks. The majority of sales will be received by QV 6-8 weeks after the initial sale date. The above time frames are estimates only and QV is not responsible for any delays or sales being received outside the estimated time periods.
